Quartinho (Montessoriano) do Inacio

Eu nem me lembro direito quando e como eu cheguei no nome da Maria Montessori, só sei que assim que bati o olho percebi que o método que ela desenvolveu tinha muito a ver com o jeito que eu e o Rafa pensamos em criar o Inacio.

Pra quem não conhece, Maria Montessori foi uma educadora e a primeira mulher italiana diplomada em medicina (lá em 1896!). O método Montessori enfatiza a importância de se criar um ambiente adequado para o desenvolvimento da criança, capaz de permitir a livre expressão de suas capacidades e estimula a criança a aprender sozinha através das suas experiências. A ideia é dar autonomia, liberdade (com limites) e respeitar o desenvolvimento natural das habilidades físicas, sociais e psicológicas das crianças. O método foi pensado para ser algo fácil de ser seguido por todos, por isso foca em coisas bem simples e quanto mais natural, melhor!

Uma das coisas mais legais que li foi a respeito da preparação da casa, segundo Montessori. Geralmente, o que vemos em quartos de bebê de revista (muitos lindos, por sinal) são quartos decorados, na verdade, para adultos. Montessori defende que um quarto feito para o bebê tem que ser pensado pelos pais como se estivessem no campo de visão do bebê, ou seja: que quadros e imagens estejam na altura do bebê, que tenha liberdade para rolar pra fora da cama (com segurança, é claro) e que tenha livre acesso às suas coisas, por exemplo.

Algumas coisas do método que incorporamos ao quarto do Inacio:
– Quarto espaçoso e composto de poucos móveis;
– Colchão no chão;
– Tudo ao alcance da vista e das mãos;
– Espelho na altura do bebê, para que ele possa se conhecer;
– No armário há uma arara com poucas roupas e ao alcance para que ele possa se vestir sozinho (ainda não chegamos nessa fase, mas já está ali);
– Cantinho da leitura (que é aquela área aberta na estante, onde por enquanto é a casinha do Popeye hehe);
– Os nichos no chão para guardar alguns dos brinquedos.

A cama do Inacio é um colchão de berço que colocamos no chão com almofadas, cobertores e tapetinho EVA em volta. Ele dorme ali a noite toda desde os 2 meses de idade, e muitas vezes, pela manhã, encontramos o guri assim:

Outra coisa que pesquisamos na época em que ele não interagia muito com brinquedos foram os móbiles. Pedi para minha vó fazer o Gobbi e eu mesma fiz o de Octaedro. Ele não passava hooooras brincando, mas se distraia um pouco.

O espelho ele também adora e fica um tempão se “admirando” (ou admirando o bebê que ele imagina estar preso lá hehe).

Acredito que nenhum método de criação de filho tenha uma garantia de 100% criança feliz, o que existe é o desejo de buscar o melhor. A gente não segue a risca o método Montessori, e acho que ainda temos muito para fazer e ler sobre, mas fazemos o possível para conseguir seguir essa linha de deixar o Inacio mais “solto” para explorar, criar e experimentar as coisas. :)
