Quando Deus te dá o cano

Essa história de onipresença sempre me pareceu balela. Deus não pode estar em todos os lugares ao mesmo tempo, e com certeza ele já te deu o cano. É tipo wireless, todo mundo que tem sabe que NÃO, não pega em qualquer cantinho da casa.

Penso nisso toda vez que vou a um banheiro público, faço xixi e só depois percebo que não tem papel. E então pergunto, onde está Deus nessas horas? Onde está a faxineira responsável pela reposição do papel? E, o mais importante, onde está meu cérebro e por que não chequei isso antes? São momentos caóticos, de verdadeira tensão e descrença em qualquer tipo de fé. É horrível.

Mesma coisa acontece quando você se perde. Antes do cano, uma falha de produção: por que não nascemos com GPS? Google Maps? É um absurdo ter que usar parte do meu cortex pré-frontal decorando nome de ruas enquanto poderia estar memorizando outras coisas. Definitivamente é por isso que eu esqueço aniversários (viu só, insira_aqui_seu_nome?). E onde está Deus nessas horas? Eu garanto que vendo Lost, por alguma ironia do destino que ele mesmo controla.

E não para por aí. E as várias vezes que me deram o troco errado e só fui me dar conta disso em casa? E às vezes que meu WAP é acionado sem que eu perceba? E aquele dia que comi pão de queijo com formigas achando que era orégano? Não vou nem mencionar as mensagens trocadas no MSN. Esse velhinho safado só pode estar de brincadeira ou realmente adora ver suas criaturas em situações constrangedoras e desagradáveis. “Dancem, marionetes, dancem”, diz ele nos intervalos do seu jogo preferido, World of Warcraft.
