Manoel Carlos, o Maneco
Parece estranho um post sobre Manoel Carlos, mas na verdade… é realmente bem estranho mesmo.
Já tive minha fase de fazer parte dessa comunidade. Aquela revoltinha básica de “mimimi isso é tão massificado” e achar que novela era besteira. Sim, muitas delas são. Mas são também entretenimento. E a grande sacada do Manoel Carlos é que ele transformou algo que era pra ser apenas entretenimento, aquilo que tem o dever de nos divertir, nos tirar um pouco do mundo real, nos distrair, em algo que instiga, gera debate, faz refletir.
E eu não sei o que acontece comigo, mas o Vale a Pena Ver de Novo me transforma em alguém diferente. E esse alguém gosta de novelas. No Vale a Pena Ver de Novo elas parecem muito melhores, apesar dos cortes porcos que fazem. Ou talvez seja exatamente por causa dos cortes, a história acaba ficando mais dinâmica. O fato é que isso me fez perceber o quanto adoro as novelas do Manoel Carlos. Múltiplas Helenas, as clínicas do Dr. Moretti, festas que duram uma semana inteira, mortes trágicas de personagens que nos fazem soluçar no sofá, aquelas polêmicas pra serem abordadas por todas as revistas e programas de comportamento, etc.
Quando Viver a Vida começou, eu já tinha decretado: é novela do Maneco, vou ver! No começo da história, uma Luciana que parecia mais ter 5 anos de idade, metida e mimada, me fez desanimar. Era tudo muito surreal, uma vida boa e ela sempre querendo mais de tudo e todos. Mas acho que foi tudo feito propositalmente exagerado para que pudéssemos notar a grande mudança da personagem depois do acidente.
Semana passada a novela acabou, e eu posso dizer que foi a novela mais madura de Maneco. Pra mim, um verdadeiro marco em quesito de novelas. Sim, teve o “tema principal polêmico” para ser debatido no Fantástico, teve uma enxurrada de merchans (mas que, honestamente, estão melhorando muito), teve as inserções culturais chatinhas e forçadas que já são marcas do autor, teve também milhares de críticas chamando o enredo de autoajuda. Mas o que eu mais gostei da novela foi a realidade dos personagens. Ao contrário do que já aparenta a próxima novela das 21h (Passione) Viver a Vida não tinha vilões. Na verdade, isso é meio que uma característica que vinha crescendo nas últimas novelas do Maneco, mas nunca foi tão visível. Personagens super humanos, que amadurecem, crescem, erram, continuam com os erros, não mudam. Em uma novela que principalmente pretendia abordar a SUPERAÇÃO, o que pude perceber é que o grande vilão era mesmo o destino. E que nós temos que lidar com ele, aprender, ir adiante, superar. Eu acho isso MUITO LEGAL. Porque, sinceramente, quantas pessoas vocês conhecem que tem como objetivo de vida bolar planos infalíveis contra alguém? Separar casais? Dar golpes milionários e fugir com o dinheiro? ISSO é coisa de novela. Ter que conviver com pessoas chatas, fazer decisões na vida, sofrer preconceito, violência, superar traições, perdas e doenças. ISSO é vida real. Eu me emocionei muito ao longo da novela com a veracidade dos fatos. E a coisa mais bacana, pra mim, foi a Luciana não ter voltado a andar. Além disso, as personagens chatas continuaram a ser chatas, as pessoas que se decepcionaram continuaram magoadas e as implicantes idem.
Embora a gente não se surpreenda, tem muita gente que se informa através das novelas. É a palestra das massas. Só assim eles vão aprender o que significa anorexia, bulimia, como se prevenir contra o câncer de mama, como aceitar melhor uma relação homossexual. Parece tão óbvio e clichê, mas também é tão importante para algumas pessoas que não tem condições de uma educação melhor, e às vezes nem possuem a cultura de ser ensinado, aprender, e por isso não vão atrás. E é muito importante trazer tudo isso pras massas. E se tiver que ser feito em forma de novela, acho super válido. Vida longa e próspera ao Maneco!
