Highway to hell – Bruberries

Casamento em Uruguaiana. Uruguaiana a 8 horas de Porto Alegre. Sem vestido e madrinha. Um pâncreas meia boca e a certeza de que nada ia ser muito fácil.

Então era isso, no feriado de Corpus Christi estava eu embarcando pra lá num ônibus levando uma caixa térmica com pão de queijo e vendo aos pedaços Elizabethtown dublado espremida numa poltrona, tentando convencer meu pescoço de que por aquela noite a cama ia ser um pouco diferente. Mal conhecia os noivos, mas nessas horas as formalidades falam mais alto e eu sucumbi. Precisava de algo pra me apegar, um amuleto, algo que me garantisse segurança durante os momentos mais difíceis: levei meu secador comigo. O meu secador 110w. Pro meu hotel 220w.

Meia hora de choro depois de um transformador estourado e tudo parecia bem, ignorando o fato de que eu não ia poder almoçar nada além de repolhos e batata doce, simplesmente porque não tem como encontrar uma restaurante árabe, mexicano, vegetariano ou natural na fronteira do Rio Grande do Sul com a Argentina. E os restaurantes todos fecham às 14h, então por mais que eu quisesse ver pra crer, não ia dar tempo de procurar nada adequado ao meu pâncreas revoltado na cidade.

Tirando isso, foi tudo bem mais ou menos. Nunca tinha ido a um casamento e me dei conta do quanto definitivamente não quero um tradicional. Padre, Igreja, músicas sem graça… no way! No fim, me desculpem quem discorda, aquilo não é para os noivos. Se trata de um agradecimento à Deus. É um ritual para Deus. Não tem nada a ver com o amor entre as pessoas que estão se unindo. É tudo uma submissão. Assunto pra uma vida, não um post, acredito eu.

No fim, a melhor coisa foi ter estado na Argentina, Brasil e Uruguai em um mesmo dia. Um feito bobo, eu sei que não é impossível. Mas já foi algo! Comprei um rímel novo da L’Oreal, um lip balm de morango, muitas guloseimas pras pessoas queridas (com a plena satisfação de que elas estariam felizes podendo comer o que eu não posso), um som novo modernoso pra minha mãe e ganhei meu perfume amado da Diesel: Fuel for Life Unlimited. Também comprei umas coisas diet num mercado de Libres e tomei suco de Pomelo.

A segunda melhor coisa de tudo foi meu sapato, que comprei pra combinar com o vestido e o casaquinho de pele. Surpreendendo a tudo e a todos, eu não usei um Cravo & Canela, e COMPREI um sapato. Sim, eu comprei. Já vejo a hora em que vou ter que dormir no sofá da sala pois não terei espaço no meu quarto que não tenha uma caixa de sapato brilhando.

A terceira melhor coisa foi ter tirado fotos muito bonitas da May. Céu azul, poucos prédios, bastante tempo livre. Me orgulhei.

E a quarta melhor coisa foi descobrir que a H2O de lá é bizarra.

Mas apesar da aparência de suco do Chaves, é boa.
